A Notoriouslysinglegirl Goes To Coachella 2015 Weekend 2 Day 1 &2
Ah Coachella 2015! Well I guess I can say I popped my Coachella Cherry and I’m still alive after two days of amazing music, eye popping art/ fashion and nauseating body odor!
After having a second home in Palm Springs for ten years I finally decided to give in to the begging pleas of one of my besties to attend Coachella! A beautiful music festival deep into the Indio Desert!
Day 1 fashion: Tye Dye Sun dress; Urban Outfitters Hat: 99 cent store, Shoes grey converse, Hair: side braid
Comfort was key for me on day one since temps in the desert hit in the high 90’s!
At the end of the evening I ran into a girl wearing the same dress… At first I thought I was looking into a mirror.. But then we looked a each other and said”Urban Outfitters!” But of course, I wore it best!
The Art installations were amazing! Although the giant caterpillar on Day 1 does not turn into a butterfly on Day 2… They are 2 different Installations!
The dark night definitely brought the hot desert to life with all the beautiful lights!
Of course day 1 and 2 brought eclectic bands and DJ’s! I was able to catch Azalea Banks, Interpol, Kieza, Belle and Sebastian, Hozier, Gorgon City, Milky Chance, Kasabian, ACDC, Jack White and many many more!
We even took a ” Dance Break” in the “Do” dome…. Where the rhythm of the spinning DJ makes every part of your body just want to let go and dance!
On day one I had the heart attack special: Garlic fries with pulled pork…and a Henikin that tasted cheap! I felt terrible ! So day 2 I had to keep it healthy: vegan raw chipotle wrap and a raw coconut drink! Kept me hydrated and dancing into the wee hours of the night!
Day 2 fashion: My little black sun dress Madewell 2 years old, converse tennis shoes, 99 cent store hat, and pink bandana to keep the dust away from my sinuses!
Bodies…. Nothing but wall to wall bodies everywhere! And of course a bit of drama on day 1 when a female millennial decided to have a a seizure ( probably from too much Molly/ dehydration) in front of my friend and I. Luckily, we are both Nurse Practitioners… My bestie put her in reverse trendelenberg while onlookers doused her with water! Miraculously she jumped up and ran off!
I survived day 1 and 2 ! Onward and upward to day 3 which is suppose to be the best! Stay tuned! To be continued!

Holy cow you guys ended up working at Coachella, haha. That girl is lucky you guys were there to help her out.
