The food is good here. It’s authentic. The flavors are amazing!

Having just visited Napales, Italy ( the pizza capitol of the world), and attending their annual pizza fest, I guess I can consider myself a pizza expert!
Mumtage suggested we order the “Flower Child” pizza: creamy mozzarella and possibly buratta adorned with edible flowers.
The crust was light and crisp, bursting with fresh olive oil. A pizza that stimulates all 5 senses.
We ordered: the shaved zucchini and arugula salad with crunchy toasted hazelnuts in a Citrus vinaigrette. And the polenta with Marsala mushrooms and braised kale: A plus for the polenta.
Oops sorry no pics, we were too deep in conversation and the food oh too good!
I’m a sucker for good coffee and presentation. I loved the the little biscottinni adorning my Americano coffee with a side of steamed milk.
Jon & Vinny’s is a must. A great date place where good food stimulates fascinating convos!
