Street dining is back in Los Angeles! I felt like having a bit of Ramen … where to go and who to go with?? Of course with a Japanese friend… he knows all the good Ramen places in town!
I felt like I was in an episode of an Anthony Bourdain food special having Ramen with my friend “Masaki” at DTLA Ramen. God how I miss Anthony Bourdain!
The bowl of Tonkatsu ramen is so gorgeous it’s worthy to make the cover of any front page food magazine!
And of course it tastes as good as it looks! Super yummy perfectly salty broth with pork belly, a soft boiled egg and of course ramen noodles swimming so elegantly.
Sitting on the sidewalk at this joint ain’t so bad. There’s lots to look at down the street many old buildings that spark the old nostalgia of Los Angeles to come alive.
What did we talk about? Anal swabs for covid, triple masking, and mush more metaphysical high strange! Never a dull moment with my friend Masaki!
