#BirthdayMonth
March is my #BirthdayMonth! I ❤being a Pisces! I’m a true fish and love anything having to do with water. Even the recent Los Angeles rains which allow me to splasharound in my Hunter boots.
So far this #BirthdayMonth has been amazing! Kicking it off with Modernisim Week & Drag Brunch ( Hard Rock Hotel PS) in Palm Springs.
Then men cooking for me. Hey my catch phrase is #GurlzGottaEat! I can’t refuse it when the men in my life offer me a “grilled” meal. First my bestie of 30 yrs, grilled a couple of Petite Fillets bathed in white truffle oil, while enjoying penthouse views of Hollywood and Highland. Then a special friend grilled some scrumptious chicken paired with an elegant cheese plate and yummy wine. The dinner was enough to heighten the senses with beach waves crashing while grilling.
Next, a discovery walk with my creative gal pal Abby to Lake Hollywood. I’ve lived in Los Angeles all my life and had never been to this spectacular hidden gem of the city. True beauty indeed.
Of course I treated myself to personal self care: a massage and facial at massage envy. I love Melina and Jilbert. They treat me like a queen and we always have fun swapping stories.
My yogi friend Barry from PS came into town and we got our Kundalini yoga on at “Nine Treasures Yoga.” A must if you’ve never been and are feeling blocked. Especially if you are into “manifesting” your deepest desires… this place is a great way to start a birthday!
The chanting, gongs and people with turbines all add to the “Hollywood” yoga experience.
But try not to let the feet in your face get to you! I really couldn’t stop laughing… never a dull moment in Hollywood!
Cake time and shenanigans with my family. Flourless chocolate cake from Whole Foods.
And thanks to my bro for making me a very Italian espresso!
Spectacular birthday month so far… and I’m excited to see what the rest of the year has in store! If your birthday is on the horizon take pleasure in it and indulge in some self care and unconditional love! ❤
