Eat Me: An Art Exhibit On Cunnilingus

Things to do in #LosAngeles on a Sunday: go to church, hike Runyon Canyon, brunch w/ friends and attend : EAT ME: An Art Exhibit Centered On Sexual Pleasure… Particularly VIA Cunnilingus!

Ah cunnilingus!

…. How all women love you!

The exhibition is a great way to help men to give more to women sexually…

                      (Roderick, Tinder)

Well curated art exhibit by Alison Stevenson and Elizabeth Vazquez, @ Jr High in Hollywood..debuted several riveting pieces created by thought provoking artists on,clitoral stimulation and then sum!

A memory popped in my head: I was at a wedding shower many years ago. I think I was 22 or 23 years old. The women all started talking about cunnilingus and fellatio.

Since I was attending nursing school, I just happen to be studying sexual terminology at this time. I chimed in and started giving the women all a lesson on the terms, the health benefits, and the importance of oral sex.

My mother just happen to be sitting next to me at the time. After my discourse she added: that’s why she’s going to nursing school! To talk about sex!

And “poof ” my teaching career began!

My favorite piece in the exhibit was the media PSA :

I was fortunate to have “David” be my viewing buddy!

David made the experience much more fun and interesting…we even engaged each other in a Q&A session.

I had the opportunity to interview several of the guys at the event. They all enjoyed the exhibit and happily admitted they enjoyed cunnilingus…

I’m uber intuitive and did not get the Pinocchio I’m lying vibe from them!

The curators Elizabeth and Allison hope to bring awareness towards the simple fact that in a realm of casual sex, cunnilingus is not a privilege. It’s a right!

They also offer safety advice and include info on HPV and herpes as well as many resources… This nurse approves!

I often educate my patients to examine the genitalia physically for any warts or growths before engaging in oral sex! This is a must!

Cheers to that sistas!

P.S. Who said you can’t meet men in #LosAngeles? There were a ton @ this event!
