Robolights….um WTF?

Robolights…. All I have to say is WTF?

An interesting psychedelic Christmas light art exhibit using toilets and doll heads as one of its main elements. Nestled in the exclusive neighborhood of the Movie colony in Palm Springs, Robolights was an excellent ending to my holidays this year.

Walking through this robot/ doll head whimisical wonderland full of lights must be what an acid trip looks or an ayahuasca trip minus the vomit looks like, it’s what I’ve heard my friends talk about.

I especially liked the toilets. The artwork on the robots was indeed amazing!

And of course Ronald Mc Donald was a treat to see!

Aliens made a special appearance.

And a wanna be it’s a small world …..

“Mommy I want to ride the rides!” Screamed a little boy to his mother as he jumped up and down holding his privates ( I think he was doing the pee pee dance) excitement pointing at all the miniature supermarket merry go rounds and slides.

” You can’t, it’s art!” His mother said! I hope the artist understands that it’s torture for small children to see so many fun little rides and slides and not be able to ride them!

Robolights was an incredible display that had my senses doing the pee pee dance like the little boy! A must see for Xmas 2016 if you happen to be in Palm Springs!
