Writers + #DTLA + Cocktails = Hello LA, A Cocktail Party To Celebrate Literary Community!

Typically, people associate Los Angeles with the movie industry, but there is also a growing literary community! Hello LA brought all the Los Angeleno writers together at The Ace Hotel in Down Town Los Angeles.

An interesting 1920’s style band complete with a tuba played while writers of all kinds danced and drank whiskey, bourbon and vodka cocktails.

And a water called “Fred” that came in a bottle resembling a flask proved to be rather interesting!

Conversations about pitches for new novels, who was publishing what, and several other creative innuendos flooded the room!

A beautiful event with almost 400 writers in attendance! I’m looking forward to the next one with my manuscript in hand!
