I love a good ice coffee. Especially when it’s hotter than Hades and 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
But that’s Palm Springs, California. You can’t complain much when you live in a resort city and you’re life seems to be an endless vacation.
Ice coffee is all the rage lately. In fact, Starbucks just reported they are changing their “ice” from cubes to “nuggets” to save water since 70% of their sales comes from “iced drinks.”
I’m a desert local now.
So, I go where the locals go and anyone that knows me knows they can find me writing and plotting my next big adventures at any of the 4 Koffie’s around town.
My fav iced coffee at Koffi at the moment is the “Iced Americano Dark Roast” a little bit americano & and a little bit of espresso Italiano over tons of “cubed” ice. It’s perfect for an “Italo-Americano” like myself.
Of course Koffie has lots of slushy coffee freezes like “Malted Mocha Freeze, Caramel Mocha Freeze, and the Belgium Chocolate supreme to name a few. And the “NEW” tea freezes : my favorite Pineapple black tea lemonade and strawberry black are supper yummy and will keep you hydrated with electrolytes and for sure give you a brain freeze.
Who doesn’t LOVE ❤️ a LEMON 🍋 Coffee? Especially smack in the middle of SUMMER?
Ernest Coffee in Palm Springs does it right with the “Lemon Hello!”
Be forewarned, the “Lemon Hello” is a seasonal iced coffee drink at Ernest Coffee. It usually says “goodbye” in the beginning of August as we reach the climax of summer. Get it while you can!
