What’s for breakfast: Antigua Bread in Highland Park

It’s breakfast in the hood! I am loving re gentrified Highland Park! Having grown up in neighboring Eagle Rock, my friends and I always considered HP “The Hood” and proceeded with caution when we had to venture out to Franklin High School for summer Drivers Education!

Now…. HP is getting a re gentrified face lift with many great eateries.

Antigua Bread, is located on Figueroa. The Minanero: plantain, chorizo, queso fresco, black beans and eggs, is a must try. The dark roast coffee is well brewed and compliments the dish!
