Love bombs, breadcrumbs, and ghosting. It’s what dating is all about in 2025. Personally, I’ve been off dating apps for the last year and I’ve never been happier.

Once again, Betheny Frankel is on TikTok amplifying how atrocious dating in 2025 has become.

Betheny specifically makes a reference towards men in their 50’s who she says “don’t know how to communicate because they’ve been in long term marriages and don’t know how to connect with another human being on an intimate level.”

These types of men then have more of a tendency to “breadcrumb” giving you just enough attention and communication to keep you hooked like a crack head. They’ll love bomb you and give you endless compliments. And then they’ll ghost you till they need another hit of dopamine and validation for an overinflated ego.

How did we get here

I’m not sure if Bethany Frankel is tardy to the party, but these dating dynamics have been trending ever since pandemic Covid times. At least that’s when my internal AI started to pick up on these patterns I was experiencing with men.

It’s the ego texts that are full of fluff and mean nothing that are meant to get you hooked. One has to wonder where all these guys are getting their so called “dating playbooks” from? Has to be some kind of a script that all these guys are using since they sound like NPC’s ie Robots living in a dystopian sci fi movie.

Over time, that’s just what happens to the “ego” the monkey mind. It starts to run on a lifeless superficial program. It gets stuck and starts to spit out nonsensical narratives like “good morning beautiful “ to get a tiny hit of dopamine it can to sustain it.

When the demons take over

Before you know it, these types of guys will also tell you dark secrets on the first date. Betheny Frankel also mentioned this. It’s almost like the guys demons take over and start speaking for him.

They’ll tell you things like crazy tales about their falls into addiction, hanging at strip clubs instead of going home to their families and going to sleazy massage parlors to get happy endings because their wives no longer were having sex with them.

It’s just all TMI. I don’t know you. I just met you.

Keep your demons to yourself

I guess it’s hard to do that when those demons have been locked up and chained in a dark seeded part of the subconscious mind for so long. However, when you’re on the receiving end of all that, it’s the equivalent to being slimmed. And once you’re green slimmed you are now kept in a state of in-animation leaving you transparent much like a green screen.

Technically, the demons are erasing you. Your not a person. You don’t matter. After all, the ego and the demons are now in control and you have become its unconscious slave.

However, you soon start to wake up from all the stupidity when things start to get boring and redundant. When you look at your life and revel in your peace and have utter disdain for the drama that these demons are trying to unleash. It’s literally game over. My peace is much more important. Than you!
